Roald was born September 13, 1916, in Llandaff, South Wales, United Kingdom. His Parents are Norwegian. So they named him Roald. Did you know that his name is norwegian, You pronuce it ronaal. Most of ronalds books were made from his personal experiences, his book charlie and the choclotate factory was made from one of Ronalds childhood memories..When Roald was a child and went to school, A chocoleter would go into his school and test out the chocolate on the kids. Roald wanted to wanted to make his own  chocolate bar but insted he did what he was best at and wrote about his exprinces.
